Sandbell Passthroughs

submitted by sandsteelpaul on 10/16/17 1

TECHNIQUE: Start with your body positioned in a boat pose. Feet elevated off the ground, core braced and legs bent. As you brace your core pass the sand bell through your legs back and forth. ADVANTAGES: The pass-through is an awesome movement for challenging the core and arms. The exercise is challenging to the isometric core recruitment in the boat position. FAULTS: Common faults include releasing the core brace, and or dropping the bag rather than passing in between the legs. SCALING: Movement can be scaled down by removing the sand bell and just holding the boat position. www.sandandsteelfitness.com/exercise-database www.sandandsteelfitness.com/online-workouts
