Hannah Demonstrates the Surge Bent Over Row TECHNIQUE: This movement is done by raising the surge in a deadlift positon then bringing the shoulders back to raising the surge to the chest. ADVANTAGES: This is a great movement for the shoulders and back. FAULTS: The most common fault with this movement is looking up which throws off spinal alignment as well as rowing too high. The body needs to hold a deadlift position. SCALING: This movement can be modified by using barbells, kettlebells or dumbbells.
