Kettlebell - Alternating Clean (Fault)

submitted by sandsteelpaul on 08/29/17 1

Hannah Demonstrates a common fault in the Kettlebell Alternating Clean Here, Hannah is showing a squat with her legs as opposed to a hinge motion that is normally done in the Russian Swing. For the correct version: youtu.be/V6j9G0IFW2U TECHNIQUE: This movement can be very hard to navigate with so many moving parts. The key thing to remember is to keep the kettlebells close to the body and to catch the kettlebell underneath the bell. ADVANTAGES: This is a great fast moving exercise that gets the heart rate up. FAULTS: People have a tendency to let the kettlebell get away from them. Keep it close to the body and control the kettlebell on the catch. SCALING: This can be made simpler by starting with a one arm kettlebell clean.
