It's a great full body movement that is easy to adapt using a backpack or suitcase. The most important part is using your legs to drive through the movement as opposed to using your shoulders and arms to lift the sandbag. ADVANTAGES: Full body movement that is easily adapted. Effectively uses the lunge and resist twist patterns. FAULTS: The drive has to come from the core and legs not the arms. Keeping the knees in the proper lunge position is crucial to help avoid injury. SCALING: This movement can be adapted by using more controlled forms of weight such as the Surge tubes.
