Exercise Tubing "W" Raise

Technique: With your elbows at shoulder height, externally rotate your shoulders keeping your elbows in place finishing in a W. Advantages: Works external range of motion of the shoulder and strength of the rotator cuff. Faults: Elbows do not hold shoulder height. Shoulders elevate or depress. Scale: Can be performed without bands to improve mobility until movement quality is restored.
