A collection of song for guitar in open G tuning in the blues genre. Open G is easy to tune down to, as only 3 strings are affected - the high and bass E strings, and the A string. www.play-blues-guitar.eu/subs-blues-guitar-lessons-open-g.php It produces a great sound for playing those old authentic Delta blues style songs in the style of Son House and Robert Johnson. It isn't as harsh sounding as open D (listen to Mississippi Fred McDowell's version of Goin' Down To The River) and it really brings the bottleneck to life.
