What started as a DIY media festival for a tight-knit and dedicated audience, Indie Grits has grown into a cultural staple of the Southeast US, giving novice to advanced media makers a venue for sharing their interest in a wide variety of independent media-making.

Growing quickly over the past 8 years, the 2014 Indie Grits was our biggest yet with over 10,000 festival attendees in Columbia, SC. Indie Grits continues to challenge southern filmmakers and artists to experiment and blur the lines between art, film, gaming, and music.
