Friends of the LBJ Library had the rare opportunity to hear from the author of a new book on LBJ and from one of the men whose recollections of working with the President are featured in the book. Library Director Mark Updegrove's book, Indomitable Will: LBJ in the Presidency, was just published March 13th. Updegrove and Larry Temple, who was Special Counsel to President Johnson, shared accounts from the book. Leading the conversation was Brian Sweany, Deputy Editor of Texas Monthly magazine.
