In a conversation with Evan Smith, CEO and editor-in-chief of The Texas Tribune, Bill Keller of The New York Times took us inside the esteemed newspaper. Keller and Smith had a lively conversation about journalism in an era of nonstop news, the new definition of competition, the possibilities and perils of collaboration, WikiLeaks, and the Times digital metered model. Keller has spent 27 years at the Times, starting as a domestic correspondent and eventually becoming the editor. Currently, Keller is writing regularly for the Times as an Op-Ed columnist.
