On September 9th, the LBJ Library hosted the Texas premiere of the HBO documentary THE FENCE (la barda.) In partnership with HBO Documentary Films, the Austin Film Festival, and the Texas Observer, the evening featured a screening of the documentary followed by a discussion with Rory Kennedy (Director, Writer) and Keven McAlester (Producer.) Leading the discussion was author and historian, Douglas Brinkley. Note: Due to coypright rules, the video of the screening and program about THE FENCE does not include the actual HBO documentary.
