The LBJ Presidential Library and The Dolph Briscoe Center for American History invite you to attend An Evening With Bob Schieffer on May 14, 2010, celebrating the opening of the special exhibit CRONKITE: Eyewitness to a Century. CRONKITE: Eyewitness to a Century features unique items from the Briscoe Center's Walter Cronkite Collection, illustrating the personal and professional life of one of the most influential journalists of his era. Bob Schieffer is broadcast journalism's most experienced Washington reporter. He is chief Washington correspondent for CBS and also serves as anchor and moderator of Face the Nation, the network's Sunday public affairs program.
