NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen visited the LBJ Library Tuesday (May 10) as part of a U.S. tour, speaking on "NATO: Defending Freedom in the 21st Century". The Austin stop was one of four American cities Fogh Rasmussen visited to address the Alliance's critically important role in the transatlantic relationship. During his tour, Fogh Rasmussen honored the service of America's military men and women, met with students and civic organizations, and talk to the media about the bond that has kept the peace in Europe and the Atlantic for more than 60 years.
