Bestselling authors and veteran journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann returned to the LBJ Presidential Library with Double Down: Game Change 2012, their account of the 2012 presidential election. Double Down follows their bestseller Game Change on the 2008 race for the presidency, which went on to become an HBO film by the same name and garnered five Emmy awards. The conversation was moderated by Evan Smith, CEO and Editor-in- Chief of the Texas Tribune, the evening's co-sponsor.
