On Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, fifty years to the day of President Johnson's signing of the bill that created HUD, current Secretary Julián Castro joined Friends of the LBJ Library members for their "An Evening With" Speaker Series. LBJ Library Director Mark Updegrove moderated the conversation. Secretary Castro spoke about HUD's current initiatives, reflected back on his time as the mayor of San Antonio, touched on present-day politics including the presidential race, and more.
