submitted by Marvin's Underground Evening Lectures on 12/01/21 1

In recognition of the 50th anniversary of President Johnson’s signing of the bill that created the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in September 1965, the LBJ Future Forum hosted an in-depth discussion of Austin housing issues on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015. Our panelists included Mandy De Mayo, Executive Director of HousingWorks Austin; Parisa Fatehi-Weeks, Community Impact Manager, Google Fiber; Michael Gerber, President/CEO, Housing Authority of the City of Austin; and Sherri Greenberg, LBJ School of Public Affairs Fellow in State and Local Government. The program was held on the 10th floor Atrium at the Library. www.lbjlibrary.org www.lbjlibrary.org/page/future-forum
