The panelists included Dr. Victoria DeFrancesco Soto, a professor and outreach director for the Center for Mexican American Studies at UT Austin, a political analyst for Telemundo, and a contributor to MSNBC and NBCNews.com; Tom Gjelten, a correspondent at NPR for over 30 years and author of "A Nation of Nations: A Great American Immigration Story"; Bill Hammond, CEO of the Texas Association of Business.
