One week after the election of Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States, the LBJ Presidential Library's Future Forum held a panel discussion about the future of the Republican party. The Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016 program, was moderated by Emily Ramshaw, editor-in-chief of the Texas Tribune. Panelists included Deirdre Delisi, chief of staff to former Texas Gov. Rick Perry and now a GOP consultant; Erica Grieder, former senior editor of Texas Monthly; Jason Johnson, chief strategist for Ted Cruz; and Temo Muniz, chairman of the Texas Federation of Hispanic Republicans.
