On Oct. 26, 2017, in a program hosted by the LBJ Presidential Library, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright spoke with students from four Austin schools—the Ann Richards School, Austin High School, the Liberal Arts and Sciences Academy, and the LBJ Early College High School. Questions from student participants were moderated by Dr. Mark A. Lawrence, an associate professor of history at The University of Texas at Austin. Secretary Albright's appearance marked the opening of the special exhibition, Read My Pins: The Madeleine Albright Collection, on view at the LBJ Library from Oct. 28, 2017 through Jan. 21, 2018.
