[LBJ Future Forum] The Austin Bombings: Race and the Media

On Tuesday, April 2, 2019, the LBJ Future Forum honored the victims and reflected on the media coverage of the 2018 package bombings in Austin. Panelists addressed the ways in which racial biases shaped the narrative surrounding the bombings as well as strategized ideas for minimizing the reflection of biases in future news.
