Meet cymothoa exigua, a crustacean parasite whose gross out factor is turned up to 11. This creepy crawly makes its living by entering the gills and severing the blood supply to a fish's tongue. Once the tongue is consumed, cymothoa attaches itself to the remaining stub and feeds off of the fish's blood or mucas.
