Our hilarious heroes tie up some dangling threads, as my 7-hour tribute to Scott Aukerman and Paul F Tompkins comes to a crazy close, in the fourth part of the trilogy “Scott and Paul for First-Time Listeners”, though the meaning behind the title will be lost on anyone who just enters here, as Scott doesn’t say “if you’re listening for the first time” as he does in all the other parts. Obviously it's meant for fans of the pair, but if this IS your first listen to them, the title won’t be the only thing that will go over your head, with many callbacks to stories and situations set up in parts 1,2 and 3A. I have added the links to these below, please forgive the often amateurish images, especially in part one (though truth be told, even this has some dodgy pictures). It’s been a big learning curve, making videos with pictures inspired by the bizarre musings of Scott and Paul. I am happiest with my efforts here, though as has been the case with every one of these, the Filmora editing software was not helpful, crashing constantly again every time I attempted to convert the layout to video. This time it was at the Grover/Joker segment, which is pretty scary, which may be why. It shows how many more cuts and effects I do now than when I started this project. Part one made it to 2.5 hours before crashing. This entire video is only 75 mins. Sadly, the solution, a "second-generation" edit, comprising two smaller videos joined together (so, two mix-downs), results in a jerky motion at times, most noticeably in long pans and zooms. It's the best I can do, unless I upload this in two parts, which I'd rather not do. I think the jerkiness happens infrequently enough to not be a major issue, but it does annoy me so sorry if it does you too.
