Zion shall not be moved out of her place.” (Verses 16-17). We will experience life and opposition as we seek to build Zion. God will remember mercy and watch over us until we obey. 53:54 Verses 21-42 The work of gathering. Stakes of Zion appointed “for the curtains or strength of Zion.” “Stand in holy places.” “Seek the face of the Lord.” “Fear not even unto death, . . . in me your joy is full.” 1:01:24 Verses 43-62 Parable of the nobleman, whose servants planted a vineyard and built a hedge around it, but neglected to build the tower. The redemption of the vineyard requires the work of gathering. 1:03:52 Verses 77-80 “And for this purpose have I established the Constitution of this land, by the hands of wise men whom I raised up unto this very purpose.” Early Saints set out to redeem Zion but God is preparing them to redeem people. Russell Ballard taught that sometimes we can learn, study and know, and sometimes we have to believe, trust, and hope.
