Do not remain ignorant about this man, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him - the Messenger of God and the last of the Prophets. Life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in 4 Mins: In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, ﷺ - was the Messenger of God and the last of the Prophets. His main message was, there is no god but Allah, There is no one worthy of worship except Allah. And Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had an exceptional character. Even before becoming a Prophet he was known as Al Ameen – The Trustworthy. And he was helping the needy; Being generous to his guests; Keeping relations with the relatives. He was from the line of Abraham, peace be upon him. But many years had passed since Abraham. And the religion had been corrupted. And the people had been corrupted. And the people were worshiping many gods. They were worshiping idols. He, when he was 40 years old, He used to go to a cave, being alone in that cave. In that state God sent him the angel Gabriel – The angel Jibril, peace be upon him.And he came and he told the Prophet, “Read”. And the Prophet said “I am not a reader” [he could not read and write]. The angel then squeezed – hugged the Prophet ﷺ and told him “Read” and the Prophet replied again, “I am not a reader.” This happened three times, then the angel began to read from the Qur’an, or recite from the Qur’an. [I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the expelled] اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ {Read in the name of your Lord who created - Created man from a clot Read, and your Lord is the most Generous} With this revelation the Prophet came home, frightened. He told his wife “Cover me! Cover me!” And he informed her. And his wife comforted him, And she reminded him of his good characters. And she took him to her cousin who was a learned man, who used to write the books of old, and hearing him he said that this is the secret keeper whom Allah sent down to Moses, to Musa. After some time more revelation came down to the Prophet. Allah told him: يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ قُمْ فَأَنذِرْ وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ وَالرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُرْ {O you wrapped up! Rise up (and) so warn, And so your Lord magnify, And so your clothes purify, And so the uncleanliness shun} The Prophet ﷺ began to preach the message of Islam. The message was to worship only God, not to join any partners with Him, to be truthful, to be chaste, to keep relations with relatives. The Prophet ﷺ himself was never known to lie, and his message was to be truthful, to pray. The Muslims were opposed and persecuted. Some of them were tortured. The Prophet ﷺ and the Muslims had to flee to another city. Then there followed some battles and some clashes between the believers and the disbelievers. The Prophet ﷺ eventually won. He came back to the city; He forgave the people; And the idols they were worshipping was broken, and the house of God that Abraham had built was cleansed of the idols. The Prophet ﷺ would stand long in prayer at night, until his feet or his legs swelled, and he said: أَفَلاَ أَكُونُ عَبْدًا شَكُورًا “Should I not be a grateful slave?” (Bukhari) With this I ask you: Do you believe from what you have heard that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was a Messenger of God? Then repeat this testimony with me, "I bear witness there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His Messenger and slave."
