This talk introduces responsible AI techniques to help customers, partners, government, and news outlets distinguish between real and fake content with an umbrella of deep fake detection and generation algorithms. We look closely at the renowned “FakeCatcher” software, outlining fake detectors based on other biological priors, not only for detecting fakes but also for tracing their source generative adversarial network (GAN). Moreover, we introduce the world’s first real-time, deep-fake detection platform. The “FakeCatcher” software’s core foundation is built on a platform accelerated by Intel® AI, Intel® Advanced Vector Extensions (Intel® AVX), Intel® Deep Learning Boost (Intel® DL Boost) and optimized by the Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit and AI models (powered by one API) for inference, image processing, and streaming. The platform can run multiple detection streams concurrently with 30 fps, achieving up to 2.2x performance boost over other platforms. Finally, we present our multisource, deep-fake generation approach: A responsible deep-fake generator that blends face regions from multiple source images (instead of impersonating a target victim) in addition to our 3D deep fakes as a positive use case.
