At MagNet 2014, Matthew Blacket, the publisher and creative director of Spacing Magazine, used the MagNet 2014 magazine conference to make the first official announcement of the Spacing storefront which will open on the ground floor of 401 Richmond. The store will offer high end, non-kitsch Toronto-oriented products. The urban design and issues magazine's editorial offices will also be a part of the store. At a session on partnerships at the MagNet conference Blackett said he doesn't see Spacing as a magazine, it's a company that produces a magazine, events and merchandise. MagNet (June 3-6, Toronto) is Canada's premiere public policy, professional development and networking conference for magazine professionals. Visit magnet2014.ca
