The word “marrow” to drink in moisture or water; or temporal and spiritual life. Promises of improved health for both the spirit and physical body, and “the destroying angel shall pass by them.” 32:21 D&C 90. Verses 1-16 The First Presidency becomes an official entity. Joseph’s sins are forgiven according to his petitions. The First Presidency is to “set in order the churches, study and learn, and become acquainted with all good books.” 38:42 Verses 17-18, 24, 29: The First Presidency is “admonished to avoid high-mindedness and pride,” and to set their houses in order. The Apocrypha is a record of the time between the Old Testament and the New Testament. Joseph was told that many things are true and mostly translated correctly, but many are not true.
