California may be known for its big coastal cities but one should not miss some of the smaller towns that bring charm, surprise and delight to visitor such as Half Moon Bay, part of the San Mateo County Coastline. Half Moon Bay is a quaint town with a population of just under 13,000 people, but it's loaded with tons of options for wining and dining, shopping, and outdoor excursions.
