Farshad Mohammadi, a homeless man, was shot dead by the Montreal police on 6 January 2012. Citizens of Montreal stood for a candle vigil in front of the Montreal police HQ (SPVM) to show their solidarity with the homeless of Montreal and to speak out against Police abuse of power. Among those gathered where protesters from Occupy Montreal, 99% Quebec, the Syrian protesters of Montreal and several concerned citizens.
