On December 24th 2011, a group of Syrian protesters gathered in front of a Jean Coutu pharmacy that is owned by the honorary counselor of the Syrian regime consulate to convince people to boycott this specific pharmacy as a means of applying financial pressure on the supporters of the Syrian regime following several massacres in Syria. The protest was joined by a group of the 99% activists of Occupy Montreal how decided to show up and support the cause of the Syrian protesters in a show of solidarity.
