On the 3rd of December 2011, a group of Occupy Montreal set up tents in front of the Montreal Town Hall. This is part of an initiative to set up tents during the day at specific locations, take down the tents by night time (to avoid bylaws) and then moving the next day to another location. The objective is to engage people directly and raise awareness about what the movement is all about.
