Lunch n Learn (2021) - The State of Australia's Rural Economy

submitted by rodgersreidy on 06/04/21 1

The rural economy in Australia has been through somewhat of a transition in the past 18 months. The impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and changes to our export arrangements with other nations, including tariffs being imposed on products like wine being imported into China, have been significant factors for all involved in agribusiness. But while there have been some tough times, there are also many opportunities for you and your clients. Our panel has been assembled to help you understand what is happening and maybe even why, when and where to spot opportunities. We will also look at options with regards to small business restructuring for rural businesses that want to become more efficient and more profitable. Featuring Brent Morgan, Rodgers Reidy Sam Peacocke, Rodgers Reidy (Dubbo) Richard Riordan, Victorian State Member for Polwarth Matt Dalgliesh, Thomas Elder Markets Andrew Whitelaw, Thomas Elder Markets #ruraleconomy #covid #business #insolvency #cattle #theland
