Act in Doctrine, Episode 23: We discuss Doctrine and Covenants 60–62 to supplement your study of the Come Follow Me curriculum for May 31–June 6. Our guest is Patricia Oveson. Patricia Oveson is a hiking, reading, stay-at-home Mother who is really good at Scrabble. She spends a fair amount of time chasing her twin boys, the two youngest of her seven children. She lives at the base of Y Mountain, and she hikes the Y most mornings. We focus on three doctrinal takeaways: 1) Use your journey to progress your life and bless others, and the details of the journey often don’t matter to the Lord. 2) The early saints are examples of taking up the Lord’s charge to be latter-day missionaries to the world. 3) The Lord condemns idleness, and He will magnify the purposeful use of our time.
