Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said Israel’s military operation against Hamas in the Gaza Strip will continue, despite international calls for an end to the bloodshed. Netanyahu remained defiant during a visit to the southern Israeli city of Beersheva on Tuesday, as leaders including United States President Joe Biden expressed support for a ceasefire. At least 213 Palestinians, including 61 children, have been killed in Gaza since the attacks began. About 1,500 Palestinians have been wounded.
