In today's episode I chat with the wonderful Colin Smith. I was fortunate enough to meet Colin on a networking zoom call, where we were literally thrown together with a couple of people in a room. Straight away there was a presence about Colin that was noticeably different, he had an ability to convey a deep connection within the "Zoom room" with all those present. It soon became apparent that he had a "Super power" and that was his ability to intentionally listen, to make those around him feel truly heard. Colin has an innate ability to listen deeply. Known as 'The Listener', Colin encourages those he works with to thrive, both personally and professionally, by enabling them to feel heard and to think more clearly. He offers them the opportunity of his time and attention to be themselves, assisting in the surfacing and flow of their deepest innermost feelings. Colin also teaches how being present can translate into enhanced listening skills, which greatly impact all areas of their life. In our discussion we examine just what an impact the art of listening can make, for ourselves, our loved ones, our friends, our work colleagues and ultimately the quality of our life experience.
