As the air attacks continue, so too does violence amongst Palestinian citizens of Israel and Jewish residents, on a scale not seen in decades. The tactics of Israeli police are also being called into question. And the city of Lydd (Lod) on the outskirts of Tel Aviv is in a state of emergency, the first in an Arab community since 1966.
