Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip has continued early on Thursday on Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Gaza's health ministry says 69 Palestinians have been killed, including 17 children. Hamas confirmed a top commander and senior members of the group have also died in an air attack. In Israel, attacks launched from the Gaza Strip have killed seven people. That violence has also spread to several Israeli cities where Palestinian-Israelis and Jewish residents have fought.
