Section 49 seems like it is full of random tidbits of doctrine. But, when you know the full story as to why the Lord revealed Section 49, and the fascinating story of what happened after the revelation was received, it becomes clear as to why the Lord made the points he did for those early Saints and for us today. I call Section 50 our Handbook of Instruction for knowing how to receive personal revelation. Plus, I share three of my favorite pioneer stories.
