In this beginner series video I'll show you how to turn on your snowboard. Turning allows you to control your snowboards speed, and use both edges of your snowboard to turn around the mountain. Before trying to turn be sure you have watched the previous snowboard videos in the series. They will give you the skills you need to turn your snowboard successfully. First try turning your snowboard on a very easy beginner slope. You can even get a friend to give you a hand for the first few turns.Practice turning your snowboard with focus on the three parts that complete the turn, letting you snowboard go straight, turning your body and pressuring your new edge. If you still have trouble learning how to try going back and practice sliding on your edges. Snowboarding is about having fun, so learn to turn at a pace you are comfortable with.
