The 12 stadiums are the flagships of the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ in Brazil. In an effort to leave a positive legacy in the host country, FIFA has offered a training programme on sustainable operations of stadiums. A number of measures have been introduced, including solar panels, efficient lighting, reduced fresh water use or recycling of waste.
