Dynamic evolution of equivalent von Mises stress in a lumbar spine segment treated with percutaneous kyphoplasty during stance phase of a mild running scenario. Stress is shown as a percentile of the fracture strength of each individual tissue (bone, ligaments, implants etc.) within the model, thus facilitating the unhindered evaluation of critical areas or trauma risk in 17 tissue types of various strength characteristics. A detailed model description may be found in the Journal of Clinical Biomechanics 28 (9-10) (2013) 949-955.
