VIRTUAL PRESENTING: LIGHTING You don't have to spend much to improve your online look. In fact, the most important thing that you can do for your online presence is probably going to cost you nothing - improving the lighting. First and foremost, put the light on your face. Switch around your set up so that you are facing a window, instead of it being behind you. I did spend a little bit of money to buy lights to shine on my face, but you could reconfigure a lamp to do the same. Be bright and smile, we can't see it if there's not light.
