Jason Bainer (Steve Byers, Falcoln Beach) is a slick and attractive marketing wiz. Lee Carter (Kathleen Robertson, Tin Man) is Jason’s wealthy girlfriend and a student of neurosurgery. Alec Draycott (Matthew Edison, Our Fathers) is a hot-headed computer genius. Together, they’ve developed the next step in the communication revolution: a cellular chip implanted in the brain that allows telepathic calls between two contacts. What they need for their breakthrough is backing for further research. But when the largest cellular corporation in the country passes on what they think is preposterous, Lee suggests to her partners that they take the next inevitable step: use the three existing prototypes on themselves. In Dr. Glazer (Andrew Gillies, Degrassi: The Next Generation), Lee’s reclusive godfather, they’ve found a willing surgeon.
