If you do some research, you can find a Farmer's Mrket that does real great deals. I grew up right next to a train station that carried food products. (My father was a foreman at Pacific Fruit Express). The 'auction' as we called it was within walking distance. Between the rialroad tracks and the Farmer's Market, one could find great deals, especially on Sundays. Since I no longer live near the RR, my search is in midtown under a freeway. You can find the great deals. Fruit is one of them during the Summer season.
