“Extra’s” Rachel Lindsay caught up with Steven Yeun, Alan S. Kim and director Lee Isaac Chung to talk about their movie “Minari.” The movie is about a Korean family that starts a farm in Arkansas in the 1980s. Chung opened up about how the story was inspired by his own family, while Yeun discussed the “emotional journey” he went on to dive into his character, and how it reminded him of seeing his parents through a new lens. Alan shared his favorite thing about making the movie. The movie is up for six Oscars, including directing and writing nods for Chung and a Best Actor nomination for Yeun.
