The head of the Roman Catholic Church will meet the highest religious authority for Iraqi Shia Muslims in the coming hours. Pope Francis is the first pontiff to visit Iraq, and has called for tolerance and unity. The country has one of the world's oldest Christian communities, but numbers have dropped in recent years.
