Another Upcoming Winter Storm will bring the threat for more moderate to heavy ice accumulations across Central/ Eastern Texas into Louisiana and Mississippi this winter storm is now named Winter storm Viola. Ice accumulations 0.50 to 1 inch are likely in these areas which could lead to power outages overnight tonight. However, the HRRR model still forecasts around 0.75 to 1.75 inches with isolated locations that may get up to 2 inches of ice. This amount of ice will lead to a historic ice storm and widespread power outages and down trees if this varifies. Snow accumulations could be elevated with Oklahoma getting 5 to 8 inches with Arkansas may be getting 6 to 11 inches.
