Night Owls vs Larks- Adjusting to your Blended Families sleep schedule We did not know this but felt it was too good not to share: Morning Larks, a ground-dwelling bird has a molecular biological body clock and energy that runs faster than the actual time of the day. They are most productive early in the day and are winding down by early evening. That is why often, "Early Birds" are referred to as those that can jump out of bed and move into the day swiftly; this attribute is from Morning Larks. However, there is the switch to another loved and wise Bird, the Owl. They are known to sleep all day and work at night. The Schedule they hold is very opposite to the Lark. We find it funny how the Owl is considered wise, and the Morning Lark is tagged as Happy and coined a "Fun bird." Take a gander at your Blended Family-how. Many Larks do you have, and how many Owls? When it's time to leave on an outing-whose still asleep as they Hoot Hooted all night?  Or the opposite-its a lazy day, but your Morning larks are all buzzing around, making the sleep-in plan impossible. Either/or is frustrating. The sleep timeclock makes the whole Blended Family feels out of sync, which makes the rest of the week, weekend, and life out of sync. Taking into consideration, it is a definite issue we have heard from numerous Blended Families. We couldn't resist tackling the subject matter! Grab your coffee or cold compress, whichever you need, Owl or Lark, and let's get started! Episode 34 starts now-Night Owls vs. Larks- Adjusting to your Blended Families sleep schedule.
