Reinforce critical skills such as device placement (Rack & Stack), switching on-device power, device port-to-port cabling (including cable choice and management), troubleshooting, and more. 2. Network Controller A Network Controller, similar to existing real-world SDN Controllers like Cisco DNA Center and APIC-EM. You can practice a centralized network management approach using the Network Controller model. The Network Controller, managed using its Web GUI or using its APIs, gives you a centralized dashboard to view the network’s state, quickly identify & troubleshoot issues, and push configuration changes to all managed devices at once. You can also access the Network Controller from real-world applications running on your computer, like a browser, Python, or Postman, to execute your own infrastructure automation scripts. Step 4: Now press CTRL + ALT + T from your desktop location to open the terminal and firstly update the package list and then install the updated versions of the installed applications. Step 5: Start the PT setup using the sudo dpkg command in the terminal. Then continue by typing the root password. Step 6: After the installation files are extracted, accept the software and EULA license agreement. Step 7: After installing Packet Tracer, you can see that the required dependent packages are not installed in the terminal. In this case, install the related packages by using the command mentioned in our article. Step 8: Run the Packet Tracer simulator from the terminal and check the program's operability. In this case, you will need to log into Netacad. If you do not have an account, you can create a new free account immediately, so you can save the projects you will do on PT. Step 9: Finally, click on Show Applications and check if a start menu shortcut has been created. You can see the shortcut created in our video tutorial, but a desktop shortcut is not created automatically. Step 10: In this step, to create a desktop shortcut, copy the file in the Applications location to the desktop via terminal. Step 11: Now, after successfully installing the latest version of Packet Tracer on your computer, you can add computers or #Cisco Router, Switch, or Server devices to the workspace and experience it. ✅ Cisco Packet Tracer 8.0 System Requirements ➦ Minimum CPU: Intel Pentium 4, 2.53 GHz or equivalent OS: Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows 8.1, Microsoft Windows 10 or Ubuntu 16.04 LTS RAM: 2 GB Storage: 1.4 GB of free disk space Display resolution: 1024 x 768 Language fonts supporting Unicode encoding Latest video card drivers and operating system updates ➦ Recommended CPU: Intel Pentium 4, 3.0 GHz or better RAM: 4 GB Storage: 1.6 GB of free disk space Display resolution: 1920 x 1080 Sound card and speakers Internet connectivity ───── BEST PRODUCT ────── ✅ Buy ► bit.ly/CiscoNetworkingEssentials ───────────────RELATED VIDEOS─────────────── ➊ How to Install PT on Windows 10 ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZEWA0bZ4bo ➋ How to Install GNS3 on Ubuntu ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2nkpaJwD5k ➌ How to Install PT on Debian ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=22Tz5QQftIA ➍ How to Install PT in Mint ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQOLfFBuz48 ➎ How to Install PT 7.2.1 ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=to76AJEAYk4 ───────────────FOLLOW US─────────────────── ✔ Facebook ➦ www.facebook.com/SysnettechSolutions/ ✔ Twitter ➦ twitter.com/SysnettechS/ ✔ Pinterest ➦ www.pinterest.com/SysnettechS/ ✔ Instagram ➦ www.instagram.com/sysnettech_solutions/ ███████████████████████████████████████████
