Young People's Concert: Holst: The Planets / Bernstein • New York Philharmonic Leonard Bernstein conducts the New York Philharmonic in Holst's orchestral suite, The Planets. Five of the seven movements—Mars, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, and Uranus—are performed, and then Bernstein and the Philharmonic improvise a piece for Pluto, whose discovery in 1930 postdated the Holst composition.
