UNIDO – Sida: Closing Remarks and Partnership Affirmation Sida, as the development agency of the Swedish Government, has a long-standing partnership with UNIDO, funding multiple projects in developing countries for inclusive and sustainable industrial development. In 2012, Sida has agreed to fund the LKDF and promote public-private development partnerships (PPDP) to equip youth in emerging economies with demand-driven industrial skills. As a result of the successful outcome of the first phase of LKDF, Sida and UNIDO came together once again in 2020 to scale-up its level of intervention and reach out to more and more vulnerable people.
